NSW: Inferno as tanker rolls on car, killing at least three=2
The assistant manager of the Shell Service Station at Ourimbah, Lynne Holding said
she had just arrived at work when she heard a bang and the ground started to shake.
"Well I just heard a loud bang and I was standing at the front counter talking to one
of the staff members and looked up and just saw the cloud of smoke and flames shooting,"
she said.
Mrs Holding, whose station is about 500 metres from the accident, said emergency workers
arrived about 10 minutes after the initial explosion and that the tanker burned for about
an hour.
"It just got worse. It just kept exploding," she said.
Mrs Holding said her husband went down to investigate and saw "a truck with a car sticking
out of the bottom of it, on fire".
