Tas: Federal Labor must resolve leadership tension: Lennon
Tasmanian Premier PAUL LENNON says the federal Labor Party needs to resolve leadership
tensions .. if it's to win voter confidence at the next election.
Opposition leader KIM BEAZLEY has declared a spill of his entire frontbench .. with
Labor's foreign affairs spokesman KEVIN RUDD mounting a leadership challenge.
Mr LENNON won't be drawn on which candidate he supports but says it's vital for federal
Labor to resolve tension within the party.
He says there's still time for Labor to win back public confidence .. but people won't
vote for a divided party.
